乐有琵琶、五弦、筝、箜篌、觱篥、笛、方响、拍板。合曲时亦击小鼓、钹子。合曲后立唱歌。凉府所进，本在正宫调，大遍、小遍，（案：“小遍”，旧讹作“小者”，据《乐府诗集》七十九引改。）至贞元初，康昆仑翻入琵琶玉宸宫调——初进曲在玉宸殿，（案：“玉宸宫调初进曲在”八字，诸本并空，依《乐府诗集》补。）故有此名——合诸乐，即黄钟宫调也。《奉圣乐》曲，是韦南康镇蜀时南诏所进，在宫调，亦舞伎六十四人，遇内宴，即于殿前立奏乐，更番替换；若宫中宴，即坐奏乐。俗乐亦有坐部、立部也。
