《品茶要录》一卷，宋黄儒撰。儒字道辅，陈振孙《书录解题》作道父者误也。建安人。熙宁六年进士。此书不载於《宋史·艺文志》，明新安程百二始刊行之。有苏轼书后一篇，称儒博学能文，不幸早亡，云其文见阁本《东坡外集》。上元焦竑因录附其后。然《东坡外集》实伪本（说详集部本条下），则此文亦在疑信间也。书中皆论建茶，分为十篇。一采造过时，二白合盗叶，三入杂，四蒸不熟，五过熟，六焦釜，七压叶，八清膏，九伤焙，十辩壑源沙溪。前后各为总论一篇，大旨以茶之采制烹试，各有其法，低昂得失，所辨甚微。园民射利售欺，易以淆混，故特详著其病以示人。与他家《茶录》惟论地产品目及烹试器具者，用意稍别。惟东溪《试茶录》内有茶病一条，所称鸟蒂白合蒸芽必熟诸语，亦仅略陈端绪，不及此书之详明。录存其说，亦可以互资考证也。
