到咪利坚国远商京禀钦差大人，为禀请敬报事：远商几年在广东做贸易，从来不贩卖受交鸦片泥一斤，亦丝银都不买，又随时到处勉劝各人，以此项毒物万不应做矣。现在禀明钦差大人知道，远商应承后来更不贩卖鸦片丝银，若有时做，就受刑罚。而此次忖想钦差大人宪仁政，必不忍将远商之货船买办事件阻留为难也。亦禀明过限期，因为远商想望各商，一齐禀报顺从。谨此，禀赴钦差大人台前，查察允准施行。
