The Penelopiad

那天正值藏历新年。这年的天气特别寒冷。前段时间刚下过一场雪，早晨天刚蒙蒙亮的时候，寒风呼啸着卷起地面的雪。这一难以抵挡的寒气和把天地连成一片的暴风雪，给人一股隐隐的悲凉感。巷子里，别说是人，连牲口也十分少见。平日里像调皮的小孩一样，善于盘旋和啁啾的麻雀们，也因忍受不了寒冷，静静地躲在屋檐下。总之，这座高原小镇躺在风雪中，一如失去生命的物体。这时，在被凛冽的寒气侵袭的小镇前方的江边，一个穿着肮脏、单薄，头发蓬乱的五十出头的男子，牵着幼狮般的小卷毛狗，嘴里嘟嚷着，毫无目标地行走在暴风雪中。他时而把狗崽从地上抱起来，贴一贴脸，抚摸一下；时而又把狗崽放在地上，瞪大眼睛凝视它，皱起嘴巴和鼻子，流着口水，吓唬道，“我不是疯子。你才是疯子。不要脸的，你这个过桥抽板、没有良心的才是疯子……”风愈刮愈烈，夹着雪的风把他的头发、脸颊，以及全身都裹成雪人似的。
